American Transplant Foundation

In 2007 The Lowrie Family Foundation donated over $10,000 to the American Transplant Foundation.

The mission of the American Transplant Foundation is to save lives by reducing the growing list of women, men, and children who are waiting for a transplant. We do this by maximizing living organ donation, which is the most effective way to fulfill our mission.

The American Transplant Foundation was the first non-profit in the country to provide financial assistance to the most vulnerable transplant patients and living donors by reimbursing them for lost wages after the surgery, and providing access to lifesaving medications.

Through its Patient Assistance Program and 1+1=LIFE Mentorship Program, ATF supports patients in 46 states with a specific focus on Colorado.
